Macau International Dragon Boat Races Macau International Dragon Boat Races Months of intense training finally pay off as some of the world’s best dragonboaters compete at Nam Van Lake. Paddling in time to the rhythmic beats of their drummers, the teams race over 250, 500 and 2,000 metres, each striving to get their boat’s elegantly adorned dragon’s head over the line first.
